3rd Party Reporting
What is it?
Third Party Reporting is another way of reporting a hate crime. A Hate Crime is understood to be a crime motivated by malice and ill-will towards a social group because of their actual or perceived:
- Race, colour, ethnic origin, nationality or national origins
- Disability
- Transgender identity
- Religion or faith
- Sexual orientation
Third Party Reporting also means you can go somewhere you feel safe, talk to someone you trust and report a hate crime without contacting the Police directly.
