SCOREscotland partners with people and organisations to address the causes of racism, providing support to families and young people struggling with its effects. Our aim is to strengthen communities so that people can take an active and full part in community life in Scotland. Be part of SCOREscotland’s community by Becoming a member. Being a member is FREE of charge and open to all.
What does being a member mean?
Becoming a member is a way to stay in touch with our work with regular updates on activities, invitations to events etc. It is a way to show your support and help to build a strong multi-cultural community in South West Edinburgh.
Who are the members of SCOREscotland?
- Past and present SCOREscotland’s participants and volunteers who want to keep in touch with the organisation.
- Local people and other members of the public who have an interest in the organisation.
- Other organisations, who share the vision of SCOREscotland.

Are you passionate about community empowerment and social justice? Here’s your chance to make a lasting impact as a Board Member at SCOREscotland. Contribute to initiatives that uplift and empower our diverse community. Shape the strategic direction of our charity committed to social impact. Work alongside like-minded individuals dedicated to make a difference.
SCOREscotland partners with people and organisations to address the causes of racism, providing support to families and young people struggling with its effects. Our aim is to strengthen communities so that people can take an active and full part in community life in Scotland. Our small team is based in Wester Hailes reaching through and beyond this community with both centre based activities and online engagement.
Several of the SCOREscotland’s current Board members have supported the organisation for many years and in support of the organisation’s strength and continuity we are looking to recruit new members. The Board of Directors is responsible for providing strategic and operational oversight and a constructive challenge to the SCOREscotland’s Management Team.
We are currently looking for Non-Executive Directors who share our passion for supporting community strengthening and inclusion and ideally bring any of the following skills:
- Finance
- Human Resources
- Community Learning and Development
- Marketing and fund-raising
