Sessional Workers wanted

We are looking for skilled and experienced Sessional Youth and Children’s Workers who are passionate about engaging with children and young people and about supporting them to make progress on our outcomes.

The beauty of being a sessional worker is you can vary your hours from weekly to monthly sessions. Our group ages are: 7 – 10, 11 – 14, 15 – 17 and 18 – 24 years old. We are based at WHALE Arts Centre, Wester Hailes but we take our young people throughout the city and beyond.

Youth Climate Action Project LeaderJune 2025 March 2026

We are currently looking to recruit a part time (21 hours per week) Finance Administrator

The purpose of the job is to provide effective financial and office administration support for the organisation. The Finance Administrator will often be the first point of contact for public enquiries and will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of the organisation’s finances. This includes preparing financial reports for the Manager, Board of Directors, auditors, and funders. The post holder will provide high-quality administrative and financial services across all SCOREscotland projects.

Youth and Children’s Development Officer March 2024

We are currently looking to recruit a Youth and Children’s Development Officer. The purpose of the job is to develop purposeful links with South West Edinburgh based black and minority ethnic (BME) children and young people (7 – 17 years) increasing opportunities for C&YP to have positive experiences; locally, city-wide and nationally in order to reduce isolation, disadvantage and the achievement gap experienced by many children living in Wester Hailes and surrounding areas.

The post is part-time (28 hours per week) and is contracted to 31 March 2027. You will be enthusiastic and motivated individual who will contribute to the development of our work with children and young people.
