Our Youth Climate Leadership Programme launched this summer and he is what we got up to!
Young people had the opportunity to explore the great outdoors and engage in activities that counted towards the John Muir award and learn knew things about the local flora. Activities included:
- Foraging berries at the Bonaly Country Park
- Plant Identification & Climate Communications workshops with the Royal Botanic Gardens
- Wildflower Meadow planting with the Edinburgh and Lothians Greenspace Trust
- Learning to grow micro-greens with the Enactus Project

And that is not all! We are excited for Autumn as we start organising more climate activities for your programme.
If you’re a parent of a young person interested in participating, please get in touch with Eirini Chatzidaki at eirini@scorescotland.org.uk or call 07754801704
Alternatively, you can sign-up directly through this form and we will keep you updated about the programme’s upcoming activities!
If you’re an organisation that offers outdoors activities, we would also love to hear from you.
